Bali : Island of Gods

June 27, 2019 – We flew to Bali from Manila, Philippines

Arrival in Ngurah Rai International Airport :

Out of my adventures out of the Philippines, Bali was probably one of the most special and magical places I went to.

Bali, also known as the “Island of the Gods“, is associated with the idea of tropical paradise and reality does not differ much from imagination. The island, in fact, offers lush tropical nature, postcard beaches and a culture characterized by a deep spirituality.

One of the best things about Bali is despite being fairly small, it has something for everyone. Whether you want waterfalls, beaches, jungles, monkeys, surfing, shopping, snorkeling, or just relaxing on a bean bag in the sand, Bali is your paradise.

Getting a private driver was also probably one of the best decisions we made as it gave us an opportunity to go off-the-beaten-path a little as well and see Bali at our own pace with the comfort of a guide and vehicle.

Flying Home to the Philippines. 😦

We absolutely LOVED our time in Bali from seeing lots of temples, eating delicious foods, seeing endless rice fields, and more. Spending 4 days in Bali is definitely not enough time. We know that we’ll be back to visit more of this island.

I hope someday I can live or stay here for a month or more…..
